What is the most economic and environmentally friendly cloth diaper your baby?
I cloth diaper full time, but we in a very tight budget and want to know what Cloth Diapers are the cheapest and where to buy them. Does anyone know? I want to go all-organic if possible. Where I can buy the cheaper cloth diaper supplies but more natural?
The cheapest way to cloth diaper is to buy organic hemp natural organic prefold diapers (flat screen) that attach to the front with what is called a Snappi. I tried this at first with my newborn because some believe it would be easier, while the umbilical cord was healing. However, leaked horrible because, unlike other diapering options, not equipped. The next cheapest way to cloth diaper is still use the prefolds, but also acquire some Diaper Covers to fit over the prefold. The most natural, organic Diaper Cover is made of wool, but those can be expensive, but the positive side is that while there is nothing covered stool (Poop) in it, can be reused with a different diaper (prefold) later. Fortunately, the long cloth diapering your baby is cheaper (and more environmentally-friendly) that the use of Disposable Diapers. (Not to mention how much smoother it seems to be in the baby's skin.) I, personally, really love Pocket Diapers. I can use Bum Genius 3.0 Diapers Size. You can use the same covers from birth to potty and are really easy use. You can read more about them here: They have a 3.0 http://www.bumgenius.com/ Organic Bum Genius pocket diapers size, but are slightly expensive. (I've seen that about $ 2 more at about $ 20 per diaper, and each of them come with a Diaper Insert and a doubler.) Prefer the pocket diapers for the all-in-one, because I think you can get the Pocket Diaper to dry faster. I hope this answers your question!
